This year Ascent celebrated 25 years in business, and we are both excited and grateful to reach this milestone.  Back in 1998, Phil Horstmann founded our company with the mission of helping customers manage and maintain mission critical equipment. We’ve stayed true to our mission of improving critical facility reliability, finding customer savings and implementing value-added strategies. All the while, we’ve expanded our suite of services to include data center engineering, data center construction, and operations and maintenance management.

We’ve come a long way since 1998, and we’re now proud to have teams located across the country and Canada and growing to support our customers’ data center and critical facility needs.  Each and every one of our employees has played a key role in helping us deliver top-of-the-line data solutions.

As I reflect on our past 25 years, I’d like to thank all our clients for their partnership. To say we would not be here without our clients is an understatement. At Ascent, we believe in long-standing relationships with our clients, and our partnerships are built on trust and mutual success. We are honored that you choose us to service your data centers, and we always strive to deliver the highest levels of operational autonomy, efficiency and control.

Our client safety and satisfaction has been of the utmost priority, and we strive to continue to exceed client expectations in the upcoming years. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your mission-critical assets in the years to come.

In 1999, I joined in the early years of the business as we applied engineering-based approaches to solving customer challenges in their critical data center operations and facility projects.  From maintaining critical infrastructure and upgrading facilities to supporting new IT deployments, to tailoring data center designs for customer-specific requirements, to providing resources to support onsite technical gaps, and everything in between.  

I am honored to have been part of the journey all these years and even more excited for what’s to come as we apply Ascent’s collective expertise to navigate and solve current and new challenges our customers face in their mission critical facilities and data center operations.
